After installing Perl on Win 2000 Adv server, when i enter into PPM mode and use 'Search *' for listing the packages it is showing the following error "ppm> search * Searching in Active Repositories Error: No valid repositories: Error: 500 Can't connect to ppm.ActiveState.com:80 (Bad hostname 'ppm.ActiveState.com') Error: 500 Can't connect to ppm.ActiveState.com:80 (Bad hostname 'ppm.ActiveState.com') ppm> prop No query results to describe -- use 'query' to find a package.
I thought the installation of Perl itself installs some default packages. Please help me out. Thanks, Ramakrishna.
