Lou and Mark I'm sorry you've been frustrated. It really is very simple to unsubscribe from the Perl Beginners list. At the bottom of every mail from the list manager it says:
To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected] http://learn.perl.org/
So just send an email to [email protected] with any header or body you like (or just leave them empty) and you will stop getting messages. Note that this relies on the From field of the message you send being the address you signed up with.
