Re-install resulted in the same non working plugin but, however, inserting
these lines in my .vimrc did the trick:
`let g:Perl_GlobalTemplateFile = $HOME. '/.vim/templates/Templates'` & so on
for modules, scripts, etc...
Should be in the README I reckon.
