DBI and Oracle 8I

Hi All

        I don't know if this is the right place to ask this but here goes.
Please direct me to other lists if appropriate.

        I would like to use Perl to access are Oracle 8I version 817
database on Solaris 2.6. 

        1) Do the current DBI packages support this?
        2) If so, what packages do I need?
