I now have Debian 10 (Buster) in a VirtualBox 6.0 VM on a Windows 10 laptop. I've been working through Derek Molloy's book on setting up the cross-platform tools.
In chapter 7 (page 309) when I give command apt-cache search cross-build-essential there is no response, just prompt root@debian:~# When I issue command sudo apt install crossbuild-essential-armhf I get: reading package list … done building dependency tree reading state information … done E: unable to locate package crossbuild-essential-armhf Side note, I installed Debian using 3 iso DVD images. When I upgrade packages I get prompted to mount a DVD. I have mounted each of the 3 DVD's and tried the above install with the same result on each. Any suggestions how to proceed? I am stuck. ~Thanks, -- For more options, visit http://beagleboard.org/discuss --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "BeagleBoard" group.
