It seems that you have a Windows box with a Linux VM. I think what happened
is that you filled out the disk image you created too small (not the
virtual memory, which is a different thing). While there are ways to  fix
that, I think you should start from scratch, delete the existing Linux VM
and create a new one giving it a larger disk.
