Hello,

I want to add some Invensens Digital microphones via I2S interface and saw
the kernel driver code* ics43432.c [1] *which could work, since no
hw-parameters need to be set, only bitclock an LR-Clock needed.

I did not find any overlay to or device tree files to add or activate.
So may questions:

- has anybody done this and how, maybe an written an devicetree overlay ?

- If not, I guess I have to write an overlay myself. Is there something
other to do, since there is no ics43432 kernel modul
* ?*
- How to start writing a new overlay for the mcasp and codec and maybe add
an codec kernel source myself for an array ?

Is it wise to start from ctag-face-2-4 like like
am335x-boneblack-ctag-face.dts (not an overlay) or any other overlay only
using I2S input.

Any hints are appreciated.

 Thanks !
