my BBB has been doing random shutdowns. Today, I was in the middle of an apt-get update, and part way through the board decides that the power button was pushed and shuts down. This was while I had both a USB connection to my mac and a 5v power supply plugged in. There is also a powered USB hub connected that has the wifi adapter so this should not be a matter of insufficient power.
