I am also facing same issue with BBB A6A

on console following errors comes

U-Boot SPL 2014.04-dirty (Jun 05 2014 - 20:31:45)

** Partition 1 not valid on device 0 **

spl_register_fat_device: fat register err - -1

### ERROR ### Please RESET the board ###

After that it hangs
