Which image did you start with? The last stable image was from December (yes, I need to make new ones), but there was a March image from March that you could have downloaded (if you looked for it) that was experimental and generally didn't work.
I'm working on switching to the new "Official" BeagleBone Debian build scripts for the next images, but it's been slow going.
