I suspect I may have done this to myself by messing with the BBEdits folder inside Documents, but I can't seem to undo it.
With historical backups on, I get an error every time I save a document: > An error (0) occurred. This may be because you don’t have permission to create files in the folder containing this document. Uncheck the historical backups and no complaints. I have a "BBEdit Backups old" folder in Documents that has folders dated to just a few weeks ago (when I screwed things up, I believe).
