I have a few bbedit projects on my mac desktop. All the files in these projects are accessed over a drive mapped using expandrive (basically sftp). Issue I have is that if expanddrive gets disconnected and a few mins later reconnected (say i'm on the move) bbedit no longer lets me edit the files. It might give a permissions error if you try to edit and save of if you try to expand the project directory in the left side bar it won't show files. You need to close / reopen bbedit and reload the project before it works. Its not a huge big deal but just a little frustrating at times. I have tried File->Reload from disk but that doesn't help.
