I've done some investigating and I think I've come up with a solution to my
problem:
Backed up "Document State.plist" (JIC)
Created an empty "Document State.plist" (using touch)
Made "Document State.plist" read only (chmod 444)
Since BBEdit can no longer save state info it appears to work how I want.
My next question is, will making this file un-writable by BBEdit cause any
problems?
