I'm brand new to this list, but have searched the archive and haven't found anything directly relating to PHP folding...

I'm running BBEdit 8.7 (222) and am having trouble getting the code folding to work right. I swear in previous versions PHP functions and code blocks would pretty much all display the disclosure triangle in the gutter to allow me to fold the code. I've never really used it much and so don't know when the change occurred, but now BBEdit will only show the disclosure icon on function or class blocks.

I can use the "Balance & Fold" option on any block, but no disclosure icon shows up when I do this —all I get is the little rectangle with ellipses in it. I can double click this to unfold the text.

I've tried setting the prefs using "defaults write com.barebones.bbedit LanguageSpecific:MinimumLinesForBlockFold:PHP 4" to make sure that the minimum lines are being met but this still doesn't do it.

I should also add that BBEdit is showing the disclosure triangle for comment blocks using the multi-line syntax (/* */). Additionally, if I change the language setting to something syntactically similar, Javascript for instance, the triangles show up one pretty much all the expected blocks.

Any input folks have would be most appreciated.
