I continue to find FTP functions less that ideal.
If I attempt to log into a server and said server is off or deaf, I
have to wait for BBEdit to time out (a 3259, I think). I can't
cancel (command-period). I can't bring other apps to the front
because palettes, clippings and such stay in the front most
regardless of the other applications' needs, and the whole experience
is simply icky.
Please spend some time recoding your FTP functions. A typo on my
part, or a server outage should not cost me a full minute of
productivity. Badly-behaved 'feature'.
