I have been using BBEdit for editing on a Windows share for about 2
years now and those dratted ._ files are all over the place! I've
done a fair bit of searching and not found any way to stop them being
created. I have set the secret preference, turned off state saving
and disabled ._DS_Store creation and still they come. We have to put
special filters in our testing code to ignore them in case I forget
to delete them!
Please, does anyone know how to stop them being created? And I don't
mean write a script that I have to remember to run every 30 seconds.
Sorry, I love BBEdit, but this problem makes me a bit cranky...
