All,
I have an autochanger that is currently configured and working.
Autochanger {
Name = Magnum_224
Device = Ultrium-TD3
Changer Command = "/opt/csw/etc/bacula/mtx-changer %c %o %S %a %d"
Changer Device = /dev/scsi/changer/c6t4d1
}
Device {
Name = Ultrium-TD3
Media Type = LTO-3
Archive Device = /dev/rmt/0cbn
LabelMedia = Yes
AutomaticMount = Yes
AlwaysOpen = Yes
RemovableMedia = Yes
RandomAccess = No
AutoChanger = yes
Spool Directory = /tmp
Maximum Spool Size = 4831838208
# Enable the Alert command only if you have the mtx package loaded
Alert Command = "sh -c '/opt/csw/sbin/tapeinfo -f %c |grep TapeAlert|cat'"
}
I'd like to know, is it possible to setup multiple definitions for the
same device. I'd like to be able to use hardware compression for some
jobs (/dev/rmt/0cbn) and software-only (/dev/rmt/0bn) for others.
Just wondering is anyone is doing this in their setup.
Thanks,
Shon
