I am jumping into the middle of this thread, please forgive me if I am
off base.
You can do this two ways. The first is to define the pools in the job
like this
Job {
Name = "comp01"
Type = Backup
Client = comp01-fd
FileSet = "Windows C-drive"
Schedule = "WeeklyCycle"
Storage = "FileStorage0"
Messages = Standard
Pool = 'Default'
######
Full Backup Pool = "Monthly"
Incremental Backup Pool = "Daily"
Differential Backup Pool = "Weekly"
######
Priority = 10
}
and this schedule
Schedule {
Name = "WeeklyCycle"
Run = Full 1st sun at 00:01
Run = Differential 2nd-5th sun at 00:01
Run = Incremental mon-sat at 00:01
}
The second way is to define the pools in the schedule like this:
Job {
Name = "comp01"
Type = Backup
Client = comp01-fd
FileSet = "Windows C-drive"
Schedule = "Daily_Backup"
Messages = Standard
Pool = "Default"
Priority = 10
}
Schedule {
Name = "WeeklyCycle"
Run = Level=Full Pool=Daily mon-sat at 00:01
Run = Level=Full Pool=Weekly 2nd-5th sun at 00:01
Run = Level=Full Pool=Monthly 1st sun at 00:01
}
