Server and Windows FD are 1.36.3
Server is running Gentoo Linux, kernel 2.6.15
Client is Windows XP
I use the following FileSet to back up the Outlook files on the Windows
machine:
FileSet {
Name = "paru-gollum"
Include {
Options { compression=GZIP portable=yes }
File = "</etc/bacula/filelists/paru-gollum.include"
}
Exclude {
File = "</etc/bacula/filelists/paru-gollum.exclude"
}
}
Contents of paru-gollum.include:
C:\Documents and Settings\paru\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook
Since I used the "portable=yes" option, I thought I would be able to restore
the Windows files to my Linux server using bextract. But when I try I only
get the Linux files in the volume, no Windows files, and I see the following
in the output:
21-May 21:39 bextract: bextract Error: Win32 GZIP data stream not supported on
this Client.
And I when I try to restore to the Windows FD, I get the following error:
21-May 17:18 frodo-fd: Restore.2006-05-21_17.18.18 Error: Cannot create
directory \restore/C/\Documents and Settings\paru\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook: ERR=The system cannot find the path specified.
Is there any way I can get the Outlook data out of this volume?
Thanks,
Rob
