You probably didn't run the tape testing procedures as indicated in the Tape
Testing chapter of the manual -- in particular btape "test" and btape "fill".
Judging by your OS and Bacula version, you probably don't want BSFatEOF=yes or
TWO EOF=yes in your config. The default bacula-sd.conf file contains a
default Device resource that works on most devices. I'd also recommand (as
is indicated in the manual) using /dev/nst0, though strictly speaking this
should not be necessary.
I'd strongly recommend that you move up to 1.38.8. 1.36.3 is a good release
but is no longer supported. Read the ReleaseNotes for gotchas such as
database upgrading ...
