I don't know about your specific hardware, but we're currently backing up about 668Gig of data to a Dell PV132T, with dual LTO2 and ad 23 slot changer. Our data is mostly static, but so far bacula has been handling the load effortlessly. Note that you'll probably want to make sure to snag the latest version, currently 1.38.5, which has enhancements which allow you to use both drives simultaneously. If anyone else has numbers they'd like to throw into the fray here, I'd love to get some hard numbers back. The script to do so, and any results as I get them, are at http://paramount.ind.wpi.edu/wiki/doku.php?id=database_statistics -- Frank Sweetser fs at wpi.edu | For every problem, there is a solution that WPI Network Engineer | is simple, elegant, and wrong. - HL Mencken GPG fingerprint = 6174 1257 129E 0D21 D8D4 E8A3 8E39 29E3 E2E8 8CEC ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
