My error. It should be:
mount storage=DLT_TAPE
then what is important that you didn't do is:
status storage=DLT_TAPE
PS: it is often much easier if you use the same name in the Director and SD
for your device: I.e. DLT4000 instead of DLT_TAPE, then the messages printed
by the SD (Storage: DLT4000) correspond to what you type into bconsole.
