...many times I happen to find bacula waiting for unknown reason...why does it wait for my manual "mount"? Why does it says he cannot find any appendable volume, when the correct one is inside the LTO? When I issue the mount command, it's like waking up bacula..... isn't it the AutoMount option that should tell it to mount the device when needed?

Use "mount" command to release Job.
