I'm not sure what that section of the manual says, but the limit is 260
characters (I've added this to the current manual). There is no way to get
around it. Perhaps in a future version we can solve this problem by using
only Win32 Unicode system calls.
It appears that long filenames can possibly be saved, but only restored to a
Unix system. This I have not confirmed, but you can try it by using the
portable option in your FileSet.
