Hello,
My backup job stop progressing after backup more Gb and they are these
messages in logs :
Error: block.c:551 Write error at 0:1860 on device /dev/nst0.
ERR=Input/output error.
Error writing final EOF to tape. This tape may not be readable.
dev.c:1212 ioctl MTWEOF error on /dev/nst0. ERR=Input/output error.ror.
I checked my tape with command btape test with success.
I added these commands on start of bacula-sd :
mt -f /dev/nst0 rewind
mt -f /dev/nst0 stoptions buffer-writes async-writes read-ahead
mt -f /dev/nst0 defblksize 0
The status of storage report after the error :
Device "/dev/nst0" open but no Bacula volume is mounted.
Device is BLOCKED waiting for appendable media.
Configured device capabilities:
EOF BSR BSF FSR FSF EOM REM !RACCESS AUTOMOUNT LABEL !ANONVOLS
ALWAYSOPEN
Device status:
OPENED TAPE !LABEL MALLOC !APPEND !READ !EOT !WEOT !EOF !NEXTVOL !SHORT
!MOUNTED
Device parameters:
Archive name: /dev/nst0 Device name: SDLT
File=0 block=0
Min block=0 Max block=0
Total Bytes Read=0 Blocks Read=0 Bytes/block=0
Positioned at File=0 Block=0
When i restart my job the backup work more minutes before stopping.
I use Bacula 1.36.3 on redhat 7.2 with SCSI tape Quantum SDLT600.
What the parameters can solved this problem ?
