It sounds very good.

No, i'm not worried about any Linux change, but for Microsoft undocummented 
streams and apis. It will work for ACLs on this particular version, but i 
don't know if other attribs will be ok (like mtime, ctime, owner, etc...).

My workstation is able to run VirtualBox with a Windows guest (i don't 
remember if it wasn't possible with my previous workstation.)

I'm not sure that you need the VT extention for VirtualBox+WinXP (i think that 
it's required for KVM).

I think that run-windows-in-a-vm is a better idea than using BartPE, now if 
Bacula can restore acl stream from BackupWrite/Read, i would be very happy 
too!
