By the way, if you are trying to build the Win32 FD on Windows in order to add code or debug it, OK, because it can be very helpful to have the Visual Studio debugging environment.
However, if you are trying to build a production version of the Win32 FD, I *strongly* recommend that you build it on Linux using the cross-compiling tools, because that is the "official" way that we build it, and we can only accept bug reports against the program built in that way. If it is built with VC++, you are on your own for production support and help. We will, of course, try to help you build it, but my personal knowledge of VC++ is pretty old. I repeat, that it can be very useful for debugging to build as you are trying to do, so I don't want to discourgage you, though you will have a few additional problems. However for production building with VC++ is not a good idea.
