Hi,
I do a restore with backuppc_zipcreate from the command line and everything
goes fine, but when I try to open the zip with WinRAR in a computer with
windows 7, the file doesn´t open and show the messages: compression error,
when I try to open the file with 7-zip, its open but when I try to restore
some file shows the message: compression method not valid.
This is the command I use to make the restore:
/usr/share/BackupPC/bin/BackupPC_zipCreate -h xx.xx.xx.xx -n 714 -c 3 -s
files / > /mnt/usb/zipname.zip
I tried with and without compression
Changing the charset to UTF-8 and cp1252 and the result is the same.
When i use the backuppc_tarcreate command instead the backuppc_zipcreate, I
can open the file in windows without any problem
The thing is that I need to use zipcreate to compress the files.
Can anyone help me with this?
