Hi folks, I'm trying to recover a BackupPC server which is crashing. The system is throwing kernel panics on normal boot up. I can get the system up only when I log-in interactively and turn off all services. It looks like a software issue rather than hardware, but TBH I'm only just starting my investigation.
First unexplained thing I came across was in the /var/log/BackupPC/ directory. The logs are reporting "BackupPC_link got error -4 when calling MakeFileLink" What's error -4? Googling didn't come up with a satisfactory answer.
