Hi all, I'm trying to backup a windows 2003 share via smb but only the directory structure is being copied, no files at all. My BackupPC version is: 3.1.0 My smb version is: 3.0.28a-1.fc7 (on Fedora 7) My SmbClientFullCmd: $smbClientPath //$host/$shareName $I_option -U $userName -E -N -d 1 -c tarmode\ full -Tc$X_option - $fileList I can browse and copy the share directories and files using smbclient directly from command line, so I'm almost sure that is not a permission problem. No errors are reported and the transfer log shows: ------------------------------------------------ Running: /usr/bin/smbclient //MyServer/docs -U administrator -E -N -d 1 -c tarmode\ full -TcN /data/backup/BackupPC/pc/MyServer/timeStamp.level0 - \\shareSubDir incr backup started back to 2008-07-02 08:07:32 (backup #0) for share docs Xfer PIDs are now 5144,5143 Getting files newer than Wed Jul 2 08:07:32 2008 Domain=[MYDOMAIN] OS=[Windows Server 2003 3790 Service Pack 2] Server=[Windows Server 2003 5.2] tarmode is now full, system, hidden, noreset, verbose tar: dumped 2 files and directories Total bytes written: 0 create d 755 0/0 0 shareSubDir create d 755 0/0 0 shareSubDir/Presentation tarExtract: Done: 0 errors, 0 filesExist, 0 sizeExist, 0 sizeExistComp, 0 filesTotal, 0 sizeTotal ------------------------------------------------ My share structure is something like this: -------------------------------------------- - docs (the share) - Dir1(subdir I'm not copying) - files ... - shareSubDir (the one I'm copying) - Presentation - files ... - files ... -------------------------------------------- Any idea ? Thanks. --
