I try to use the exclude directive in rsyncd.conf on my windows machine

exclude = C:/Documents and Settings/ENRICO/Documenti/Macchine virtuali
but the directory isn't excluded.
I have to use in config.pl $Conf{BackupFilesExclude} ?
