This sounds very interesting! It could be nice to have it implemented as early as possible in the 10.10 testing period, to identify problems faster.
Maybe it could be the default behavior in the desktop version as well, for the duration of the alphas, to make sure it undergoes as much testing as possible, and also to investigate whether or not it's the way to go for that environment as well. Nicholas Ipsen
