Not sure how AxKit would be an MLM since that's an email thing, but regarding list archives I'd be happy to supply the code used on axkit.org for the mail archives. It is rather tied to ezmlm at the moment, but if you can make an XML file containing the subjects and pointers to the messages I'm sure it could be used with just about anything.
