My thoughts for what they are worth..
First of all I have not used AxKit - yet.
Because it is associated with Apache I'm much more interested and trust
that it would not be under the Apache umbrella unless it was a good
product.
I strongly recommend you integrate the website into xml.apache.org (and
get rid of the advertisements).
