It is easier for me to use dbm on Solaris rather than gdbm, as dbm is
already present.
I had to edit 8 files to get dbm to work in avahi:
configure.ac
avahi-utils/Makefile.am
avahi-utils/stdb.c
avahi-utils/avahi-resolve.c
avahi-utils/avahi-browse.c
service-type-database/Makefile.am
service-type-database/build-db.in
avahi-python/avahi/ServiceTypeDatabase.py.in
Would you accept a patch to allow the use of dbm in avahi?
