I am embarrassed to announce the release of GNU Libtool 1.5.14.
GNU Libtool hides the complexity of using shared libraries behind a consistent, portable interface. GNU Libtool ships with GNU libltdl, which hides the complexity of loading dynamic runtime libraries (modules) behind a consistent, portable interface.
This release is a bugfix release to fix regressions introduced in 1.5.12.
New in 1.5.14: February 12th 2005 Allow -pthread to work when building executables.
libtool-1.5.14 is available now from ftp.gnu.org, along with diffs and xdeltas against libtool-1.5.12 that are also available from ftp.gnu.org. Please use a mirror to reduce stress on the main gnu machine:

This release was bootstrapped with autoconf-2.59 and automake-1.9.4, but is useable with autoconf-2.50 and automake-1.4 in your own projects.
Alternatively, you can fetch the unbootstrapped sourcecode from anonymous cvs by using the following commands (just hit return when you are prompted for the password):
$ export CVS_RSH=ssh $ cvs -z3 -d :ext:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot/libtool \ co -r release-1-5-14 libtool
You will then need to have the latest release versions of Automake (1.9.4) and Autoconf (2.59) installed to bootstrap the checked out sources yourself.
Please report bugs to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
