[PATCH 07/32] gen-tests: $testdir/ax -> $testauxdir

* gen-testsuite-part ($testauxdir): New, defined to "$testdir/ax".
Use it throughout, for better encapsulation and less duplication.
($auxdir): Remove as unneeded.
