When referring to past commits, we should also refer to them with
their date and/or summary line (in addition to their git "id", like
correctly done here); this will prove useful when (and if) we pass
to a different SCM in the future (which might never happen, if Git
continues to be as awesome as it is today ;-)

In this case, that simply meant writing something like:

  Yesterday commit "v1.11-1848-gb3f34ca" accidentally ...
