Hello automakers. Myabe this is a stupid question, but I've not been not able to figure out what's the role of the following trailing lines in `cscope.test':
$MAKE || Exit 77
$MAKE distclean
cd ..
./configure
$MAKE distcheck
:
What are they supposed to test?
