Yep, let's avoid duplicate emails. Maybe it would be a good idea to have a `next' branch where patches are pushed by default, and once we know for sure we want them in the mainline, we cherry-pick them in `master'. Somewhat like what git does for its own development. (more info can be found here: http://marc.info/? l=git&m=119569175608108&w=2)
