I realize this sort of problem is not new to the patch, but while
we're making changes in this area, why not fix it?  Either check for
and reject cache names containing apostrophe, or (better yet) support
the names.
That's true but let's first get this change out of the way, I'll be  
glad to tackle this issue afterwards.
