I did not mean to resurrect Gnits, or to even make a statement about its state, only provide a pointer to the now-online document, to satisfy the quoted report. If the changes to the Automake manual are misleading in this regard, then I'd be happy to improve them, suggestions appreciated. I'm Cc:ing Karl to let him know about this anyway. Cheers, Ralf
