Hi, I wonder if it is possible to make all environment variables available for variable replacement without AC_SUBST(VAR) each of them.
The next step would be to keep a configuration file containing Name/Value pairs and to read them to use AC_OUTPUT to replace all @name@ with the corresponding value. Maybe it is against the key idea of autoconf but I don't know better.
