I'm the upstream maintainer and would like this package to be properly maintained. The current PKGBUILD is effectively obfuscated, which is not acceptable in my view. I'm already building my own version for my own use at https://gitlab.archlinux.org/gtsiam/gnome-shell-extension- middleclickclose-git, but doing it in the aur proper would be much more convenient. I've emailed the current package maintainer in April, but haven't gotten a response since; hence this request.
