zmr233 [1] filed an orphan request for yesplaymusic [2]:

Dear AUR Trusted Users and the current package maintainer,

I originally created and maintained the AUR package “yesplaymusic-
plus” to provide updated features and security fixes for YesPlayMusic.
At that time, I was not fully familiar with the AUR merge and
maintenance rules, which led to my work being submitted as a separate
“yesplaymusic-plus” package rather than updating the existing
“yesplaymusic” package directly.

As a result, the “yesplaymusic” package on AUR remains at version
0.4.8-2 (last updated 2024-08-12) and contains known bugs and security
vulnerabilities that have since been addressed upstream. Meanwhile,
attempts to contact the current maintainer (Qingxu) via AUR comments
and email have gone unanswered for over two weeks.

I am prepared to take over maintenance of the “yesplaymusic” package,
merge in the improvements from yesplaymusic-plus, and ensure that new
releases and patches are promptly packaged. Therefore, I respectfully
request that “yesplaymusic” be marked Orphaned so that I can adopt it
and continue active maintenance.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

zmr233
