MarsSeed [1] filed a request to merge gdm-plymouth-prime [2] into gdm- prime [3]:
The former package is abandoned and obsolete. The latter is the successor, and is actively maintained. "plymouth" is not needed to be specified in pkgname anymore, as both Arch/extra/gdm and AUR/gdm-prime are built with optional plymouth support.
