MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for gabedit [2]: Package has always been broken on Arch Linux since its submission in 2021, and upstream has been abandoned since that year.
Now the legacy pangox-compat dependency can no longer be built with gcc 14. As the last comment is also from 3 years ago, maybe there is not much demand fo this package, so it can be safely deleted from the AUR. There are very good, working, and actively developed alternatives for computational chemistry use cases, like avogadroapp, available on AUR.
