Done. I've updated the 2 eprosima-... packages which depended on
foonathan_memory-shared and the deletion request has been accepted.

That would be fine with me.
In addition to fastcdr and fastdds, I've also packaged the XRCE
packages (eprosima-{micro-cdr,micro-xrce-dds-agent,micro-xrce-dds-client}.
Lately I have not really kept up with releases (I'm not an active user
of these packages anymore).
The co-maintainer of those packages (kistlin [1]) has been a bit more active.
If useful, you could ask them to co-maintain the new dds packages.
(I'm not sure how to reach them given that their email address is
hidden for me)
