Request #60472 has been Rejected by Antiz [1]: From what I can see, upstream releases new tags fairly frequently [1]. Actually, this package is even out of date, the latest upstream tag is 2.4 [2].
The reasoning behind this deletion request is rather questionable, I don't see a valid reason to actually delete this package (if it isn't for its lack of popularity maybe). Anyway, if you don't want to maintain that package anymore, you can simply disown it instead so someone interested can pick it up.
