MarsSeed [1] filed a request to merge electerm [2] into electerm-git [3]: 'electerm' has been abandoned for 9 months now and been broken for 6 months.
Upstream still refers to its code as 'beta', and pushes new version tags on average in every 4-7 days(!). So it makes much more sense to keep only the git package, which has an attentive AUR maintainer. There is also a proper AUR/electerm-bin that is also kept up-to-date.
